Dr. Mosca received her Ph.D. in psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University in New York City. During her graduate work in psychology, she studied the physiological and emotional bases of behavior and received training in a broad range of areas encompassing clinical and health psychology, including psychoanalytic psychology, cardiac psychology, and family studies. Her post-graduate education includes the completion of a four-year training program in Psychoanalysis at the greater Kansas City Psychoanalytic Institute, where she is now a member of the teaching faculty.
She has practiced in a multiple variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatric wards and clinics, as well as private practice. She also has taught third year medical residents and supervised psychology interns and post-doctoral fellows in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California at Davis.
Currently, Dr. Mosca maintains a private practice in Prairie Village, utilizing a psychodynamic orientation to promote a greater understanding of how emotions and behavior are entwined, and to ultimately facilitate change.
Dr. Mosca is licensed to practice psychology in the State of Kansas as well as California.
She is presently a member of the following organizations:
